Watch the line that is nearly there.
A guide to choosing a column, waiting for the computer and recognising four connected pieces.
Four hearts complete a line.
Worked example · not your current boardSelect a column
Your berry heart falls to the lowest empty space in that column. Selecting any cell in the column chooses the same drop. A full column asks you to choose another rather than replacing an existing piece.
Wait for the star
The local computer selects its move after yours. Input is held while it chooses, so repeated clicks do not buy another turn. The opposing piece is a golden star.
Look in three directions
Four matching pieces can connect horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Watch your possible line and the opponent's line of three before placing the next heart.
Understand the ending
A completed line ends the round. If the board fills without one, the result is a draw. New round clears the board, as does reloading. There are no stakes, remote opponents or prizes.
